The Farmers Dairy delivers on Tuesday and Friday before 11am, to the designated collection points. The Farmers Dairy does not deliver on public holidays as most stores are closed and will therefore not be operating as collection points on these days, so please place your orders before or after the holiday dates to ensure timeous delivery. There are no delivery charges.
Please check your orders thoroughly when you receive them. They have been checked on dispatch and delivery to the collection points, but it is your responsibility to confirm you have received the correct order before leaving the premises. The Farmers Dairy cannot be liable for incorrect orders once your have accepted delivery or collection of the order. We only deliver to the designated collection points selected by registered customers within certain specified delivery areas. For verification purposes, the person collecting your order at the collection point will be required to produce your order number a proof of purchase. Any person other than yourself who receives the products at the collection point is presumed to be authorised to accept delivery on your behalf and should have the relevant number needed to receive the goods. A signature and name will be required on collection of your milk. We have outsourced all delivery and collection arrangements. Accordingly, we cannot, to the extent permitted by law, be liable for any damage suffered or loss incurred by reason of any acts or omissions of the deliverer, its directors, employees, sub-contractors, agents, representatives and/or affiliates.
Risk and Ownership
Risk in the products shall pass to you or your authorized representative on collection of your order.
The Farmers Dairy shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). Payment options accepted
Payment may be made via Visa and MasterCard and Snap Scan.
Card acquiring and security
Card transactions will be acquired for The Farmers Dairy (Pty) Ltd via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.
Customer details separate from card details
Customer details will be stored by The Farmers Dairy (Pty) Ltd separately from card details which are entered by the client on PayGate’s secure site. For more details about PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za.
Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).
The Farmers Dairy (Pty) Ltd takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website,customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.
Country of domicile
This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and The Farmers Dairy (Pty) Ltd chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature.
The Farmers Dairy (Pty) Ltd may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
