Return Policy

At The Farmers Dairy we strive to provide the best possible service to our customers and have put the appropriate measures in place to ensure all our staff and suppliers are fully aware of, and comply with the Consumer Protection Act. We are committed to operating our business in terms of the requirements of the Consumer Protection Act and our return policy is aligned therewith.

As with all warranties, certain conditions and exceptions apply:

The Farmers Dairy will gladly refund your purchase if you are not completely satisfied with the quality of the product as long as it is still within the product’s expiration date and if it is in its original packaging. You will need to have your receipt as proof of purchase. Should a product be defective in any way, please contact our dairy on (044)533 9163. You will more than likely be asked to return the product in its original packaging to the store it was collected from and your online account will be credited to the value of the product/s purchased. Please note that The Farmers Dairy is exempt from refunding you for purchases where the product has become defective because it was not being cared for or stored in the correct manner that ensures it will remain fresh for as long as or more than its expiration date. We therefore ask that you please take proper note of any terms or instructions that accompany your goods to ensure they stay fresh for your consumption.

You may not return perishable items due to the fact that you had a change of mind in respect of the particular purchased item, this is due to public and food safety regulations.

If, for any reason you would like to cancel an order this may be done by visiting ‘Orders’ on our website or by contacting our dairy on (044)533 9163. You will only be able to cancel orders up to 24hrs prior to the date and time of delivery that you selected. We reserve the right to debit your payment card for the delivery fees in respect of any late cancellations. If you cancel your payment for any reason or if your payment card should cease to be valid for whatever reason, you will nevertheless be bound to pay the full purchase price, including all costs incurred by us relating to the recovery thereof. Without prejudice to any other rights or remedies in law, we reserve the right to cancel forthwith any sale and/or your registration in the event of your breach any of these Terms.

Returned goods must be:

  • In their original packaging; and
  • In their original condition
  • Accompanied by a proof of purchase; and
  • Certified identity document of purchaser

Certain conditions and exemptions apply:
No returns will be accepted if:

  • Goods have been altered in any way; and
  • There is a health risk attached, due to public and food safety regulations.
